Contract Duration – 13 weeks Contract.
Department /Unit - Pulmonary Outpatient Clinic

Schedule: Days 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Facility location - 50 Leroy Street Potsdam, NY 13676

Unit Description -: Outpatient Pulmonology - conditions diagnosed and treated include – asthma, bronchiectasis, bronchitis, COPD, emphysema, occupational lung diseases, sleep apnea. Our team uses bronchoprovocation, exercise challenge testing, pulmonary function testing, and pulse oximetry to accurately diagnose your pulmonary condition.

What You Will Do:

Job Specific Responsibilities:

- Conduct family planning consultations and provide education on reproductive health.
- Perform physical examinations and assessments to evaluate patients' health status.
- Utilize diagnostic evaluation tools to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Demonstrate proficiency in aseptic techniques to prevent infections and promote patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Apply physiology knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Perform suturing procedures as needed for wound management.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices to ensure accurate billing and documentation.
- Provide nursing care in a variety of settings including nursing homes or long-term care facilities.
- Implement infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.

What You Will Need:

BLS

LPN License
